Something Wicked
Hey guys! So my love affair with the fall season has officially begun. Behold, the Jeffrey Campbell Areas. Is it me, or are you guys getting The Craft vibe as well? Maybe its the chunky heel or the “Chelsea” style strip, but these boots are looking witchy to me and I love it. Victorian turned grungy. Dark forests, sheer black fabric, candles.. you get the point.
Too bad they will run you around $200! My favorite colors are the green and blue suede, although they come in more neutral colors. I can’t seem to find much of a trace on the green pairs online (only one shop with one size). I feel like they might have came out last year. Anyways, I will definitely be looking out for some green boots for the up and coming fall season!

Bring it back to the 2000s!
Hey guys. I know its summer and we are all soaking up the sun (and getting burned), but I can’t help but think of the fall fashion trends of 2012! Like last year, I’m predicting that we’ll be wearing things like velvet, glitter, sheer fabric, and jewel tones. But something caught my eye recently that brought me back to my Lizzie McGuire days: iridescence.
Whether it’s using duo tone organza fabric (see Vannessa Bruno models), or the bold silver holographic skirt (Danielle Scutt), I see some awesome creativity brewing here. It’s fun, bold, but also grungy. The once tacky trend is going chic, and I can’t wait to get my hands on it. The only problem is.. will this trend go to mainstream stores - or will us thrifters have to scavenge for milinea finds?
It’s a trend that I will definitely be following this fall, will you?
